Technical Broker – Commercial & Personal Insurance

Job Description
Our client in the Insurance industry is currently looking for a Technical Broker Commercial & Personal Insurance, in Witbank, Mpumalanga.Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end underwriting and policy administration for both personal and commercial lines.
- Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements, and quotations.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients on suitable insurance coverage.
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, RE5, and industry regulations.
- Liaise with underwriters and insurers to negotiate terms and resolve queries.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of policy documentation.
- RE5 Certificate compulsory.
- Class of Business (COB) for both Commercial and Personal Lines compulsory
- FAIS Compliant compulsory.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Technical Broker role (personal & commercial lines)
- Sound knowledge of underwriting processes and policy wording.
- Excellent communication, administrative, and client service skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Advantageous:
- Experience with insurance systems (e.g., Tial, Santam, or similar)
- Relevant insurance qualification (e.g., NQF Level 4 in Short-Term Insurance)
- R30 000 R35 000 per month.
