Technical Assistant

Job Description
The required candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including customer order processing, testing of new equipment and assisting with courier collections/deliveries. In addition, maintenance, service, repairs and calibration of autoclaves and general laboratory equipment will be necessary. The successful candidate will be an energetic, motivated person who is willing to learn and progress.
Responsibilities
Stock receiving, stock takes and packing.
Test new equipment.
Process customer orders.
Completing waybills, handling courier and packing parcels accordingly.
Perform Collections and Deliveries.
Workshop servicing and repairs.
Provide technical assistance onsite to service technicians.
Laser engraving of data plates.
Practice and adhere to all safety and training.
Requirements
Matric Certificate.
Minimum of
2 - 3 years
of work experience at asingle company.
Understanding both electrical and mechanical basics will be beneficial.
Additional qualifications will be beneficial.
Computer literate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Will need to be fit and healthy to move new equipment for stock receiving and machines for repairs.
Own transport to and from work.
A valid driver's license and passport are required.
Salary
The salary will be discussed with shortlisted candidates, it will be competitive, market related and in line with the candidates qualifications and experience.
