To achieve the Operations Targets and high levels of efficiency, productivity, quality and on time delivery by performing projects task as assigned to the operations team.
Key Accountabilities:
Operations Assembly
To meet daily final assembly target as per the daily operations planning.
Be accountable with daily assembly work
Ensuring that tools, fixtures that are used are periodically in work condition.
Use necessary tools and equipment to assemble products
Locate all parts necessary for assembly in an efficient manner to achieve highest quality and lead times.
Perform tasks on products according to drawings, instructions, or schematics.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Efficiency measures within the Final Assembly area is to maintain performance levels higher than 85% consistently.
Health and Safety
Responsible for overall housekeeping being a 6S champion for assembly shop floor.
Follow and adhere to all safety, quality and procedures.
Identifying and reporting all potential risks associated with the key operations of the Warehouse
Quality
Follow and adhere to all safety, quality and procedures.
Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product defects on the assembly line to management.
Perform quality inspection and specifications on goods received
Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
Warehouse
Perform some material handling functions.
Identify quality problems or improvement opportunities
Technical
Technical knowledge and abilities to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
The ability to interpret and use electrical schematics drawings.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
N4 or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
The ability to interpret and use electrical schematics drawings.
Electrical background and/or experience in electrical assembly, preferably switchgear industry will be added as advantage.
Knowledge of all hand tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, steel banding, and power tools such as impact guns, and pneumatic rivet guns.
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, drawings, etc.
Self-starter and takes initiative for additional responsibilities and challenges.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Understanding the impact of poor quality and poor health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
