Job Description
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture
- 3-5 years technical and sales support will be required
- Previous experience with maize and soya is essential and knowledge of plant nutrition would be ideal
- Must have a drivers license and be willing to travel
- Visiting Clients (Distributors and / or Farmers) nationally to promote the new product range.
- Providing expert technical advice to clients aimed to identify business opportunities, increasing sales in a sustained manner.
- Preparing the budgets (sales, expenses, etc.) and ensuring compliance and control.
- Implementing business strategies and their defined action plan (in the Balance Score Card).
- Executing the marketing strategies defined to position the company brands.
- Managing the working capital and resources allocated to the sales area (inventory, portfolio and fixed assets).
- Carrying out the activities of business development, inventory control, billing and collection management.
- Creating monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the results of the KPIs and the BSC of their assigned area.
- Implementing, in conjunction with the Technical team, technical support strategies for Distributors and Farmers along with the Sales Representatives in the respective areas.
