Job Description
Key Output
Constructively log product matters with OEM
Caterpillar preventative maintenance orientated.
Constant Communication between TA and SEENG, through Tech Rep.
Compile technical reports on all systems (TA report)
Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs, services, and maintenance
on Earthmoving Equipment on customer sites or at BWE site.
Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR's) And
Technical Analysis Reports (TA's), Maintain professional image when representing BWE
Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Matric (Grade12) qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment
Mechanic) NQF3, 5 years post apprenticeship/ learnership
Computer Literate
Fluent navigation and familiarity of SIS2.0
Valid Driver's License
Access and familiarity with Caterpillar DSN
5 years qualified trade
Fluent Schematic reading (Electrical & Hydraulic)
* Time management skills
