Bofin Consulting is seeking a Technical Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is integral to ensuring our financial data is technically sound, compliant with accounting standards, and aligned with best practices. Minimum Requirements:

Education:HonoursDegree in accounting or finance, related qualifications Mobility:Must have a driver's license and own car End-to-End Accounting:3-6 years. Financial Statements:Preparation and maintenance experience of 3-6 years. Tech Know-how:Familiarity with cloud accounting packages. Auditing:Internal or external audit support experience. Background:Proven work experience in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Key pillars of the role are:

(A) General Accounting Functions

Include but not limited to oversight and maintenance of Ledger transactions, Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Trial Balance, Closing Entries, Accruals, Audit support, Ledger oversight, financial analysis, Capital management, and Balance sheet management.

(B) Technical Accounting Tasks

Provide advice and execute on Accounting Policy upkeep, Application of accounting standards, Accounting Process design, technical transaction analysis, Fair value and Impairment testing, and ongoing assessment of accounting standards' impact.

(C) Internal Controls Oversight

Provide integrity in the internal control function through the provision of Segregation of duties, best practice authorisation processes, completeness of record keeping, Physical controls confirmations, Key account reconciliations, appropriate Journal approvals, spotting unusual patterns, and ensuring legal compliance.
