Job Description
My client in the financial services space is looking for a technical IFRS specialist to join their team and assist the business with IFRS 17.
The business has multiple divisions which include insurance, investments, wealth management, retirement and financial planning. They are based in the North of Johannesburg and are currently on a hybrid work structure.
Job Requirements and Skills:
- Qualified CA(SA)
- 3-5 years' experience in a technical accounting role
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of IFRS 17 and the application thereof
- Understanding of US GAAP would be preferable
