will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with contractors, ensuring the successful promotion, sale, and support of our products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems, strong sales and relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to customer service. This role is responsible for identifying key industries, clients or contractors and educating them on how to improve their productivity by utilizing our services.
Responsibilities
Evaluate the needs and opportunities for clients by developing a trusting relationship with the goal of introducing the value/benefit upsell approach of our services.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Provide technical support to clients, assisting them in the maintenance of their plant machinery.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
Oversee the planning and execution of projects involving the installation and maintenance of clients' equipment.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide informed advice and solutions to clients.
Address and resolve any product or service-related issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Track and report on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Work closely with management teams to ensure seamless communication and support for clients.
Participate in trade and industry events focused on demand generation.
Travel within region will be required.
Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in account management, plant maintenance, or a related role within the engineering or mining industry.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems.
Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's licence.
Travel up to 70% to visit client sites and attend industry events.
