Procurement & Collections Officer

. This person will handle the

buying-in department for phones and tech

, ensuring we secure quality devices at the best prices. You will also assist with

collections and deliveries

, so a valid driver's license is essential.

The ideal candidate must have a

strong understanding of mobile devices, laptops, iPads, smartwatches, and consoles

, and be familiar with market trends and pricing. Additionally, you should be

active on Facebook

and know how

Facebook Marketplace

works, as part of your role will involve engaging with sellers and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

Handle procurement and buying-in of smartphones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, and gaming consoles. Negotiate with sellers and ensure competitive pricing. Perform quality checks on all devices before purchase. Assist with collections and deliveries (valid driver's license required). Manage listings and communication on Facebook Marketplace. Keep track of inventory and ensure timely updates to the system. Provide excellent customer service and represent SM Mobile Traders professionally.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of phones, laptops, iPads, smartwatches, and gaming consoles. Active Facebook account and familiarity with

Facebook Marketplace

. Valid South African driver's license (required). Reliable and trustworthy with strong negotiation skills. Experience in the retail industry or a cash crusaders is a plus. Must be based in

Cape Town

Base Salary:

R6,000 per month

Commission:

On all devices you buy in (uncapped)
