Job Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Matric certificate/ equivalent
Competent A
Basic Rigging
Blasting Certificate will be advantageous
Computer literacy
Competency in working at heights
Valid Driver's license
Medically fit for underground
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
At least 5 years of related industry experience
Experience in Mining underground and surface construction
Strong leadership and team management skills
Shaft equipping and construction operations.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in the use of construction tools and equipment
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage construction team
Conduct pre-work assessments and participate in safety meetings
Declare work area safe
Plan and coordinate operations to support underground structures
Control the utilization of allocated and other resources
Manage and maintain construction schedules
