Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead Infrastructure to lead our client's infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and scalability. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to managing and improving the infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the infrastructure team, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and security systems.
Ensure the high availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure.
Develop and implement infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices.
Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity, and proactively address any issues.
Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
Provide technical expertise and support to other teams and departments.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Team Lead or in a similar senior infrastructure role.
Strong technical knowledge of server operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and security principles.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is highly desirable.
