About the Role
As a Tax Trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience across all areas of tax compliance and advisory work. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, assisting clients from various industries while developing the technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in taxation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparation and submission of tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, and Provisional Tax). Support tax consultants with client queries and SARS correspondence. Maintain and update client tax records and databases. Assist in tax reconciliations and calculations. Keep up to date with the latest tax legislation and SARS requirements.
Minimum Requirements
1-2 years of experience in an accounting or tax environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy. Experience with SARS eFiling will be an advantage. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
