To qualify for this position, you need:
- Diploma /Bachelor's/ N6
- Professional Tax Technician (SA)
- SARS Tax Practitioner
- Knowledge of SARS eFiling and Microsoft Excel
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Bilingual in English / Afrikaans
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Minimum 1 years' experience in similar position
- Provide support to clients in respect of SARS and E-filing issues
- Liaising with clients as required
- Submission of Trust, Individual and Company Income Tax
- Returns
- Review of Assessments
- Resolving errors on Returns
- Dealing with Refund matters (Queries)
- New profiles
- Managing Tax Return queries with SARS
- Attending meetings with SARS
- Dividends Tax Returns
- Provisional Tax Calculations & Submissions
- Donations
- Tax clearance certificates & Foreign Investment Tax Clearance
- VAT registration
- PAYE registrations
- Tax Directives
- Ceasing of Residency Process
- Request for suspension of payments/appeals
- Management of complaints and Appeals
- Tax compliance with SARS and payment process
- Handle mail, calls, and appointments with SARS Agents
