Job Description
A leading insurance company is looking for a Tax Specialist to join their Corporate Finance department. This individual will be required to interpret business operations to determine the applicable tax requirements, structures and calculations in line with all applicable tax and business legislation.
DUTIES:
- Income and deferred tax computations
- Direct and indirect tax
- Tax accounting IAS12
- Dividends tax
- Employees tax
- Manage tax risk
- Tax compliance
- International tax
- Strong overall accounting skills specifically IAS9, IFRS4, IFRS17
- CA(SA) advantageous
- Masters in taxation
- BCom (Hons) Tax/Accounting
- Min 6 years experience
- Min 2 years of leadership/people management
