hands-on Tax Manager

who thrives on precision and leadership -- someone who can spearhead internal audits, enforce bulletproof regulatory compliance, and mentor a high-potential team of tax analysts handling Canadian PIT claims.

What You Bring to the Table:

5+ years deep in personal income tax (PIT) -- audit, QA, or supervisory experience mandatory
Rock-solid knowledge of Canadian PIT rules (bonus: SA, UK, US tax savvy)
Proven ability to review tax cases critically and deliver actionable feedback
Experience mentoring or leading junior tax pros to excellence
Eagle-eyed attention to detail & process-driven mindset -- nothing slips through

Bonus Firepower:

Experience in tax audits, QA, or regulatory inquiries
Familiar with CRA audits, notices of assessment, or appeals
Hands-on with CRMs or tax tech platforms
Skilled at designing audit checklists, SOPs, or training frameworks

What You'll Own:

Command PIT claim reviews to guarantee accuracy and compliance
Detect risk patterns & recurring errors -- then crush them
Lead team training that boosts knowledge and consistency to pro-level
Continuously refine SOPs and drive process innovation
Be the go-to escalation point for the toughest, highest-risk tax challenges

Track audit trends, resolution rates & QA metrics like a data ninja
Partner with ops & tech squads to turbocharge workflow efficiency
