As a Tax Manager in this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of various critical tax-related responsibilities. Your expertise will be essential in handling REIT-related calculations, navigating the complexities of Controlled Foreign Companies, and overseeing international tax matters, including Transfer Pricing and Carbon Tax assessments. Your proficiency will shine as you manage group tax computations, ensuring compliance with IFRS and consolidations. Engaging directly with SARS, you will lead tax returns and facilitate crucial SARS engagements.

Your role extends to meticulously reporting tax transactions in financial statements, making informed tax submissions to the audit committee and board. Additionally, you will spearhead the computation of both normal and deferred taxes, actively contributing to the budgeting process and strategic tax planning initiatives. This multifaceted position offers a dynamic and challenging environment for a Tax Manager with a strategic mindset and a comprehensive understanding of tax intricacies.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Postgraduate in Tax (NOT NEGOTIABLE)
• CA(SA) NB!
• 10 15 years in Corporate tax (post articles)
• Financial Services/Investment management/Property experience NB!
• IFRS 4, 17 & Tax Legislation & Regulations
• Managerial experience is NB!
