Job Description
Position: Tax Compliance Officer
Office location: Johannesburg (Bedfordview)
:
Preparation and compilation of SARS Tax Clearance documents
- Assistance with verifying Tax Compliance of clients
- Relationship management with external Tax Practitioner on SARS Tax Clearance submissions
- Working within a tax and exchange control team to efficiently deal directly with client queries. These client queries will be SARS, Exchange control and SARB related.
- Keeping the system (CRM) up to date with client progress and approvals
- Relationship management with affiliates
- Preparation and compilation of Emigration documents
- Liaising with the various teams at our banking partners to ensure SARS TCC's and emigration processes are in place for client/s to trade
A Bachelor's Degree (at minimum)
Work experience at least 1 year within Fiduciary Services/ banking/ Exchange Control department
Extremely comfortable with being client facing
Proficiency in Word, Excel, e-filing and Salesforce (advantageous)
General office administration
FAIS RE5 (within the first 3 months, if not already obtained)
SAIT registration
Remuneration:
Salary package offers a basic salary and will join the company incentive structure.
