A leading online sports betting expanding rapidly across Africa is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Compliance Specialist. This is your chance to join a technology-driven company that values compliance and accuracy as part of its growth strategy.
:
- Review VAT, Withholding Tax, and Gaming Tax calculations and ensure accurate and timely submission of returns.
- Assist in coordinating responses to tax authority queries and collating required documentation.
- Support corporate tax compliance through preparation of tax computations and disclosures.
- Track tax payments and follow up on outstanding vendor reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly tax reporting and audit preparations to maintain compliance.
- Participate in tax training initiatives for the finance team.
- Relevant tax or accounting qualification (e.g., CTA, BCom Accounting).
- 2-4 years experience in tax compliance, preferably within multi-country African operations.
- Strong understanding of VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial data.
