Tax Compliance Consultant, Eastern CapeLocation: Eastern CapePosition Overview:One of the world's leading professional service firms is seeking to employ the expertise of a Tax Compliance Consultant.The Tax Compliance Consultant will be responsible for the preparation of personal income and provisional tax returns. One will also be tasked with the reviewing of correspondence from SARS.Principal Accountabilities:

  • Administration of individual clients whilst ensuring that the clients are well maintained and necessary KPI's are being met.
  • Providing regular reporting and feedback.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and engagement teams.
  • Ensuring that individual client's annual and provisional tax returns are accurately prepared.
  • Verification of income tax assessments and objection to incorrect tax assessments.
  • Ensuring that SARS timelines are being met.
  • Ensuring that prompt and accurate responses are prepared to SARS requests and correspondence.
  • Keeping abreast with changes in tax legislation, as well as SARS policy and procedures.
  • Providing tax services to clients.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • A completed Accounting Qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Tax Compliance and Accounting environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Personal Income Tax.
