Job Description
An auditing firm based in Johannesburg North is seeking a Tax Administrator.
Duties:
- Complete SARS registrations for all tax types
Calculate income taxes for individuals and companies
Prepare and submit ITR12 and ITR14 returns
Ensure all tax returns have been assessed and reconcile assessments to income tax calculations
Obtain tax clearance certificates, including Good Standing and Approval for International Transfer (AIT)
Maintain SARS eFiling profile
Compile income and expenses schedules for clients
Upload supporting documentation on eFiling for audit or verification purposes
Monitor refunds to clients from SARS
Complete and follow up on objections for all tax types
Book meetings with SARS
Visit SARS for clients' queries regarding banking details, refunds, reallocation of funds, etc.
Update registered details for individuals and companies
Apply for remittance of penalties for all tax types
Apply for deregistration for all tax types
Requirments:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in relavent role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations
- Proficient in SARS eFiling and other tax-related software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Computer Literacy:
- MS Office (Excel,Outlook)
