Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / Tax Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and prepare accurate tax filings. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, knowledge of tax regulations, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, etc.).
- Compile financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with clients or internal stakeholders regarding financial and tax matters.
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Tax Accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
