Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to lead our catering operations and deliver exceptional food and service experiences. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events from start to finish.
• Manage budgets, inventory, and supplier relationships.
• Lead and motivate catering staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop menus in collaboration with chefs to meet client needs and dietary requirements.
• Maintain excellent client relationships and handle inquiries professionally.

Skills and Competencies

• Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate
• National Diploma in Hospitality Management or any relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
