Please visit our website:Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to support recruiting efforts across our Africa business. Based in Johannesburg, this role will identify opportunities for improvement, continuously conduct efficiency and effectiveness analysis and deliver a growth strategy in an everchanging region with various diverging markets.This role will take on the following key responsibilities:

  • Lead talent acquisition responsibilities in Africa for vacancies for all divisions and locations across Africa.
  • Develop and lead effective talent acquisition strategies which cover conventional and digital campaigns.
  • Drive usage and compliance of the ATS functionality.
  • Produce monthly analysis on regional talent acquisition performance.
  • Responsible for third party agency engagement, contracts, and management.
  • Drive D&I talent acquisition efforts by creating strategies and measuring progress.
  • Manage bulk hiring initiatives across the region
  • Creating a pipeline of candidates that are available to recruit when the opportunity arises
  • Drive benchmarking exercises and ensure benchmarks across the Africa region are updated regularly
  • Lead the coordination of the Alumni programme for the Africa region
Qualificationsou will be a professionally experienced recruiter, with previous, proven talent acquisition experience, ideally in the construction sector, specifically across the Cost Management, Project Management or Project Controls disciplines.You will have:
  • Experience of managing the talent acquisition process end-to-end
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in managing direct reports
