Role Description

Nkosi Tech is seeking an IT Systems Specialist on a contract basis, with a flexible/remote work arrangement.

The IT Systems Specialist will be responsible for supporting, optimising, and maintaining ICT systems for clients. This includes integrating software solutions, performing system testing and upgrades, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring overall system reliability and performance. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills for client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate software solutions with existing infrastructure. Conduct system testing, upgrades, and regular maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly. Optimise system performance for speed, reliability, and security. Support clients with technical guidance and best practices. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and industry standards. Document processes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Experience

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of proven experience in systems support, administration, or integration. Strong expertise in networking, operating systems, and enterprise applications. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing support. Industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) advantageous.
