Title Systems Architect & Initiative LeadTo lead the stabilisation and modernisation planning for the clients systems, ensuring scalable, resilient, and maintainable architecture that supports business continuity and future innovation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Define the stabilisation roadmap and oversee system-wide architecture initiativesEvaluate current integrations and lead the design of a modern API-driven architectureDirect the refactoring strategy for monolithic applications and prioritise key decomposable componentsCoordinate across cloud, data, and application teams to ensure architectural alignmentLead risk mitigation planning and develop remediation plans for high-risk integration and system failuresQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:Educational Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Computer ScienceCertification in TOGAF or similar frameworks beneficialYears of Experience:7+ years in enterprise or solution architecture rolesDemonstrated leadership in system modernisation and stabilisation effortsExperience with integration architecture, legacy system analysis, and high availability designOther requirements:Strategic thinking and systems-level problem-solvingProficiency in architectural modelling and documentationAbility to lead cross-functional teams through complex system transformationsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsBehavioural CompetenciesThe incumbent is required to have demonstrated the following competencies:Strategic Thinking: The ability to align system architecture with business goals and long-term strategies Problem-Solving: Addressing complex technical challenges with innovative and effective solutions Communication Skills: Clearly conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating with diverse teams Adaptability: Staying current with evolving technologies and adjusting to new methodologies and business needs Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in system design, implementation, and maintenance Leadership: Guiding teams and projects, and mentoring junior architects and engineers Business Acumen: Understanding the business context and ensuring that system solutions provide tangible value Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations managedEducation Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology (Required)Languages English
