Job Summary Years of experience: 3-6 Up to R360 000 per annum (based on experience) Duties include (but not limited to): 1. Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. The employee must participate in technical research and development to continually improve software systems and related procedures 2. adhere to organizational values. The employee will assist project teams with technical issues. 3. The employee will work in a team and perform any other tasks that are necessary for the conduct of the employers business as the employer from time to time may direct. The individual is accountable for the following systems: A. Windows systems B. Microsoft Office products (Office 365, Sharepoint, CRM) C. Domain hosting and management D. Dell sonicWALL Firewall E. Internet connectivity (ADSL and Fibre) F. Access control G. Cloud hosted services H. Virtual servers both local and hosted I. Repository hosting and management J. Telephone and communication systems Operations and Support 1. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application log and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. 2. Perform both physical and technical security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions. 3. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate cloud backup service providers. 4. Create, change and delete user accounts per request 5. Provide support to Directors, staff and clients 6. Procurement of company equipment and software license renewal 7. Contribute to the creation of the employers intellectual property Maintenance 1. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/ add new services as necessary. 2. Maintain operational, configuration or other procedures 3. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimization as required. 4. Conduct Quarterly maintenance of inverter and battery solution 5. Taking the company car to be serviced 6. Company car maintenance on a weekly basis for items such as tyres, wipers and scratches or dents and arranging the car to be washed
