Systems Administrator

Our client in the Telecommunications industry is currently looking for a Systems Administrator, in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

Routing and switching. (Juniper)
Clear understanding of IP addressing and Subnetting, VLANS, MPLS, SDWAN,
BGP and OSPF.
Firewall Configuration and maintenance. (Cisco Meraki, FortiGate)
Network Administration.
Security Administration.
Updating Environment Documentation. (Internal Wiki or Forum).
System Health Monitoring.
System Maintenance and Patching.
Automation and improvements to current systems.
Hosted PABX Management.
Configuration of IBMC, ILO, or IDRAC Systems for monitoring and remote services.
Server Environments: (Virtualized)
Configurate and Maintain virtual machine (VM) environments.
VM OS configuration(Linux, Windows etc.)
IP Configuration on VMWARE ESXI xe2x80x93 VLANS and Virtual Switches.
Capacity Planning.

Requirements:

Must have at least 3 xe2x80x93 5 years of experience.
Must have a tertiary qualification.
Basic to Intermediate Developer knowledge (Understanding of Python)
Database Management and maintenance.
Basic to Intermediate VoIP (Voice Over IP) Knowledge.
Good Understanding of SIP.
Unified Communications Platform Management (Webex).
Experience of Installing and Maintaining Physical Server hardware and cabling.
Configuration of Server Operating Systems such as Linux, Windows, VMWARE (ESXI), and KVM.
Server Maintenance and Hardware replacements (HDDs, SSDs, and Fans)
Internal Systems Management, Maintenance, and Improvements:
