Job Description
Job Summary KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Performing administrative duties
- Keeping up to date on compliance regulations
- Resolving issues related to the SCADA
- Monitoring SCADA activity
- Report building and testing
- SQL querying and query construction
- Liaising with contractors and service providers
- Conduct OEE, SCADA and planning sessions accordingly
- Assisting with on the floor activities: Switching on PCxe2x80x99s, assisting with on floor logins, testing of systems
- Assessing supplier performances
- Maintain Forklift Monitoring system
- SOP controls and As-build development with relation to SCADA and related systems
- Method studies, Time Studies and Work Flow analysis to improve processes
- Tertiary education in the field of IT, Industrial, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
- Programming experience in C++, Python, VBA or any other similar programming language
- Knowledge in SQL, SSRS highly advantageous
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies advantageous
- At least 2 years working experience in a Production/Manufacturing/Engineering environment
- Ability to apply problem solving techniques
- Exposure to programming and database systems
- Project Management skill would be advantageous
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Good decision making skills
- Good interpersonal working skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to motivate the team
- Valid SA drivers licence imperative
