Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a System Controller to ensure the daily shift operation is executed in accordance with the Plan, ensure all stock movement is executed and documented correctly and efficiently and ensure all relevant Checklists are correctly updated in accordance with HSSE. Minimum Requirements

• Higher Certificate xe2x80xa2 Diploma/Degree preferred xe2x80xa2 Have previous experience in Warehousing environment, stock controlling, using Warehouse Management Systems. xe2x80xa2 Needs to pay attention to detail. xe2x80xa2 Presentable and orientated towards customer service. xe2x80xa2 Computer literacy

Duties & ResponsibilitiesStock take/Stock Checks/Stock Counts xe2x80xa2 Does daily cycle counts to ensure that stocks are accurate. xe2x80xa2 Ensure all goods are in correct location. xe2x80xa2 Compulsory participation in Stock Takes Storage xe2x80xa2 Correctly label goods and store in the designated location to avoid damages or theft. xe2x80xa2 Store all goods on acceptance of arrival daily xe2x80xa2 Ensure stock security Inbound/Outbound xe2x80xa2 Accurate receiving of goods. xe2x80xa2 Accurate dispatching of goods. xe2x80xa2 Accurate checking of goods. xe2x80xa2 To ensure that all products are checked in accordance to the USC procedure. Housekeeping xe2x80xa2 Assist with housekeeping at any given time as required. xe2x80xa2 Ensure all PnDs are cleared by end of shift. xe2x80xa2 Ensure all Pick Faces are tidy by end of shift. xe2x80xa2 Safety: Needs to follow safe working procedures in line with Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements as well as that of our customer. xe2x80xa2 Needs to wear all relevant PPE when on site. xe2x80xa2 Perform duties in line with dangerous goods requirements. xe2x80xa2 Submit to medical examinations from time to time as required. xe2x80xa2 Submit to body searches on entering and departing from premises. xe2x80xa2 Ensure all required daily, weekly and monthly Checklists are complete and submitted to HSSE Officer. xe2x80xa2 Submit to alcohol testing on entering company premises and when required. Documentation xe2x80xa2 Sign all relevant documentation and accept responsibility for product checked. xe2x80xa2 Ensure that all signed documentation is handed over to relevant role players. xe2x80xa2 Be aware of all stock returns and xe2x80x9coddsxe2x80x9d and have the relevant documentation to go with it. Reporting and Procedures xe2x80xa2 To report and follow up on all discrepancies and damages found. xe2x80xa2 To become familiar with all products. xe2x80xa2 To participate in the operations with positive feedback and suggestions to improve working conditions. xe2x80xa2 Adhere to all changes in the system and operation as required. xe2x80xa2 To undertake all duties and tasks as reasonably instructed across all spectrums of the operation from the supervisor. xe2x80xa2 Ensure Daily Plan is updated every two hours and distributed to all relevant role players. xe2x80xa2 Ensure all required Shift reports are submitted to all relvant role players at end of shift. Systems Processes xe2x80xa2 Ensure all system errors are entered in the Systems xe2x80xa2 Monitoring of All Interfaces for ALL Files being imported or exported from JDE to WMS to TMS and vice versa. xe2x80xa2 Changing of attributes for locations xe2x80xa2 Doing a History or Enquiry on a specific pallet ID without slowing down the menus. xe2x80xa2 Receipting of Customer Returns and Collections xe2x80xa2 Stock Adjustments via Negative or Positive Stock Adjustments with reasons xe2x80xa2 Locatting a WMS order number using Distribution Order Enquiry. xe2x80xa2 Monitoring and Managing the WMS Systems Task xe2x80xa2 Updating the Stock Count Master sheet xe2x80xa2 Updating of Stock Counts on NetTerm xe2x80xa2 Updating the Shift Overviews Daily Inspection and Quality Control xe2x80xa2 Inspect all goods for quality and quantity before taking delivery xe2x80xa2 Warehouse inspection xe2x80xa2 Maintain Tool Box Talk Files xe2x80xa2 Working Shifts.
