Candidate Requirements:

Must have grade 12 + a Culinary Diploma preferably
Must have a minimum of at least 4 years of previous experience in a senior chef role
Work experience as a Sushi Chef or at an Asian restaurant
Good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
Own transport with a valid drivers license
Ability to work both fast and accurately
Must have great Leadership and management skills and be able to work well within a team
Basic computer skills (word, excel, outlook)
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, public holidays, weekends)
Ability to work under pressure and have creative problem-solving skills
