My client, a leader in strategic supply chain software, is looking for a Support Analyst to join his team based in Cape Town. The role needs both the IT skills as well as understanding and preferably some experience in the supply chain industry. A Degree in IT or related field is required, with experience in technical support i.e. software, hardware, network troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications and skills
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, IE or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in support tools and ticketing system
- Solid analytical and problem solving abilities
- Customer and service focussed
- Proactive and adaptable to new technologies
- Detail oriented
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Technical support and troubleshooting i.e. diagnose and resolve software, hardware and network issues for clients and internal team
- Client communication and assistance
- Incident and problem management
- Documentation and reporting i.e. create and update support documentation including FAQs, guides and knowledge base articles; generate reports on support activities, incidents and resolutions for management review.
