Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their Johannesburg team. Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain optimal stock levels in line with business strategy and customer service targets.
• Collaborate with S&OP, Sales, Marketing, 3PL, and warehousing teams to secure product availability.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Sales to align supply with customer demand.
• Partner with Demand Planning and Commercial teams to identify and mitigate supply risks.
• Manage inventory across warehouses, minimising write-offs and ensuring KPI compliance.
• Work closely with 3PL partners to ensure SLA compliance and corrective action where needed.
• Provide analytical reporting to support supply chain decisions.
• Organise and lead supply review meetings to improve planning processes.
• Monitor KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement improvements.
• Support special projects aimed at process efficiency and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Management, Economics, or related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain management, planning systems, and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (essential), with readiness to adopt digital tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with stakeholder influence ability.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, resilient, and comfortable working under pressure.
