Supply Chain Projects Manager Supply Chain
Durban - KwaZulu Natal - South Africa

Our client, a multinational FMCG company in South Africa based in Umhlanga, has a permanent position available for a Supply Chain Projects Manager to:

• Lead Supply Chain projects from concept to implementation & to provide analysis & management reporting to support decision making & create transparency top drive efficiencies & growth
• Support the Supply Chain function to ensure execution of related operational processes & continuously improve the ways of working
• Establish new ways of working to align with future needs of the management unit
• Build & establish collaboration & exchange with all related functions within the company

This is an EE position, & preference will be given to African & Coloured applicants.

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, or Other Sciences
• 7 years' experience in FMCG
• Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain, Lean Methodologies, or similar
• Experience in project-based roles, with strong analytical capabilities
• End user skill in SAP Supply Chain modules

Key Performance Areas:

• Work with Supply Chain leads to drive pipeline of cost-saving initiatives
• System enhancements to drive automation / embracing digitalization
• Continuous enhancement of processes to ensure supply chain that is fit for purpose
• Supporting Tenders
• Managing projects from inception to execution within the Supply Chain space
• Performing ad-hoc analysis in support of supply chain management decision making
• Lead supply chain continuous improvement
• Dialogue internally & externally to understand enhancements / opportunities for improvement
• Support in the development & implementation of corrective action
