Ballito. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a leading company in the Safety Gear industry. If you have a Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Oversee inventory control to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
- Freight and Logistics: Manage freight costs, negotiate with providers, and optimize transportation efficiency
- Customs Compliance: Ensure smooth customs processes and compliance with import / export regulations
- Supplier Management: Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to improve service levels
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvements to streamline operations
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics management
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, freight costing, and customs regulations
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure efficient logistics operations
