Emeris Durban North has a vacancy for a part-time lecturer for the following module:

Supply Chain Management

Key Performance Areas :

Preparation, conducting of lectures, tutorials and workshops; Providing study guidance, learning support, consultation and mentoring of students; Initiation and development of module materials, including online and web-based materials; Marking and grading of student assessments; A range of administrative functions connected to the discipline and modules being taught;

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Ideal:

Honours in Supply Chain or Logistics Management.

Alternatively

Honours in one of the Business-related fields (e.g. operations, supply chain or logistic management) - with Supply Chain Management to the third-year level Bachelor's degree with Supply Chain Management or a similarly related field (e.g. operations, supply chain or logistic management) - with Supply Chain Management to the third-year level PLUS either an MBAMBL or a postgraduate diploma in business.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

Lecturing experience in Supply Chain Management/ Integrated Logistics Management/ risk/ supply chain / retail management/ operations management Work experience as a logistics manager/ supply chain manager/ project manager/ risk manager/ retail management.

Working Conditions:

Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role Positions are

part-time

, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00.

Must reside in Durban (All classes take place on Campus)

Applicants must be available to lecture for 2 -3 days (business hours) within a week for the duration of the semester.
