Job Summary Position Overview
The Supply Chain Exports Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating export supply chain operations from the Centurion DC into African markets, including Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and surrounding regions. The role ensures efficient cross-border distribution, compliance with export legislation, and the integrity of multi-temperature products throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage export supply chain operations into Africa (e.g. Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, etc.)
• Ensure full compliance with export laws, customs regulations, and cross-border requirements
• Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate export documentation and records
• Coordinate export logistics, transport providers, and clearing agents
• Manage the handling and distribution of multi-temperature products (ambient, chilled, frozen)
• Lead and manage the exports and supply chain team, ensuring high performance and accountability
• Monitor export KPIs, lead times, costs, and service levels
• Ensure compliance with food safety, cold-chain, and quality standards
• Resolve export delays, customs issues, and operational challenges
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain exports management
• Demonstrated knowledge of African cross-border exports
• Solid understanding of legal export documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs documents, permits, etc.)
• Experience with multi-temperature or FMCG distribution environments
• Strong people and team management skills
• Good administrative, record-keeping, and compliance capabilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy (ERP, supply chain systems, Excel)
