Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Specialist

Job Purpose:

To support the organization in managing and enhancing relationships with suppliers to ensure performance, compliance, and value delivery across the supply chain. This

as-needed role

is ideal for a

consultant

with strong experience in supplier management and procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain effective supplier relationship management strategies and frameworks. Build and maintain professional, constructive relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance against agreed service levels and manage any deviations or issues. Facilitate supplier meetings, performance reviews, and improvement planning processes. Assist with the development of supplier scorecards and reporting tools. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier alignment with business and operational requirements. Identify and mitigate supplier risks, and support initiatives to enhance supplier capability and performance. Maintain accurate documentation and records of supplier engagements, issues, and resolutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

NQF Level 7 qualification

Commerce

, or a related field.

Minimum Experience and Requirements:

Minimum of

3 years' experience

in

Supplier Management

Procurement

Supply Chain Operations

. Demonstrated

track record of managing supplier relationships

effectively. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Understanding of supply chain and procurement principles, including performance management and compliance. Proficiency in using supplier management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
