The Supervisor will lead the cafe team, manage stock and inventory, and support product development, creating offerings that cater to traditional South African and Durban cuisine. You will maintain high standards of service, hygiene, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day cafe operations and staff across all shifts
• Manage stock, inventory, and product ordering
• Assist with menu planning and product development
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards
• Monitor and train staff to maintain operational standards
• Handle customer queries and ensure exceptional service
• Implement operational procedures to maximise efficiency

Minimum Requirements

• Proven supervisory experience in a cafe, restaurant, or fast-paced hospitality environment
• Knowledge of South African and Durban cuisine an advantage
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work day and night shifts, including weekends
• Flexible, hands-on, and proactive
• Reliable and comfortable working in an industrial area setting
