As the Supervisor - Histology Typist, you are entrusted with leading a team of dedicated professionals who transform complex medical data into precise, high-quality reports. Your role is central to ensuring that the insights from our Histology and Cytology laboratories are accurately captured and communicated using the Meditech system. Role Requirements
To thrive in this role, you bring a solid foundation in administrative excellence, supported by:

• a National Secretarial Diploma
• Grade 12 with typing.

These qualifications are essential to navigating the technical and communication demands of the position, ensuring that you are well-prepared to lead with confidence and clarity. You are someone who brings depth and insight from at least five years of experience in a laboratory environment, with a strong background in data and Dictaphone typing. Your familiarity with the pace and precision required in a lab setting positions you to lead by example, mentor others, and contribute meaningfully to our succession planning and talent development goals.
Skills Requirements
Success in this role is built on a blend of technical and interpersonal strengths. You are fluent in English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken, and possess the numerical reasoning skills to handle everyday calculations with ease. Your computer literacy and typing proficiency ensure that you can work efficiently in a digital environment, while your communication skills help you build strong relationships across teams.
