Job Description
Job Purpose:
To drive various vehicles to transport staff, materials and equipment from and to site and assist with all Electrical Maintenance and Construction activities and functions as required.
Key Responsibility Areas
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Perform specific activities at the Depot or work sites prior to and on completion of allocated Electricity related assignments.
- Inspect safety devices, operating controls lubricant levels on vehicles and report any defects to the Administration Officer.
- Observe and participates in the loading/offloading of materials and equipment, using prescribed safety procedures.
- Transport personnel, materials and equipment to/from specific locations.
- Complete internal transactional documentation and forward to relevant personnel for processing.
- Operates light and heavy cars and trucks while providing a service to both the Maintenance and Construction Sections of the relevant Depots.

Essential Requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code EC).
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- 2 Years relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- 3 Years relevant experience.
