Essence of the job:
To manage the execution of an overall strategy to improve costs, service and quality across the Northern Cape operations and to coordinate with strategic sourcing and stock management stakeholders and suppliers to achieve performance targets, which includes but not limited to:
Commodity management
Cost saving
Change management
Data integrity
Continuous improvement
Business governance and compliance
Quality management
Planning
Resource utilization and optimization
Budget and cost control
Customer support and people management
Stock management
SHERQ adherence and compliance (in own area of work)
Work Ethics.
Qualification:
(Essential unless otherwise indicated)
Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Logistics/Supply Chain/Finance/Engineering.
Minimum Requirements:
(Essential unless otherwise indicated)
Minimum of five (5) years operational category management /commodity management experience in Mining / Plant / HME industry / OEM repair environment.
Minimum of two (2) years' operational supervisory experience.
Driver's License - Code B/EB.
Medically Fit - Meet required medically fitness standards.
