Superintendent (Boilermaker)
Requirements
Trade Test certificate as a Boilermaker.
5 Years or more post apprenticeship experience related to below
KPA's.
Supervisory experience.
Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Computer Literacy (MS Office and SAP).
Valid Code C or EC driver's Licence.
Key Performance Areas
Schedule vehicle and plant maintenance work.
Evaluating technical condition of assets to be repaired or
maintained and prepare cost estimates.
Evaluate annual workshop operation resource requirements.
Co-ordinate the implementation of mechanical repairs,
maintenance schedules and procedures.
Participating operational meetings and presenting maintenance
and repair activities including related costs.
Maintenance and monitoring of vehicles permanently allocated to
the operations in terms of service level agreements.
Identify deviations and institute remedial action.
Staff Management.
Administering the relevant service level agreements between
workshop and its stakeholders.
Maintaining applicable safety standards and records within EAM
workshop.
Ensuring vehicle compliance to the Road Traffic Act where
applicable.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TOWORK OUTSIDE NORMAL WORKING HOURS, DURING EMERGENCIES
AND PLANNED OVERTIME. BE ON STANDBY. WORK IN ALL WEATHER
CONDITIONS.
