Educare House is a warm and fun-loving preschool & aftercare situated around the corner from Kirstenhof Primary School (KPS) in Kirstenhof. We provide preschool for children aged 4 months - 6 years and Aftercare for children from KPS for Grades R-7. We are a growing school, in a very exciting phase!

We are looking for substitute teachers to work with us on an ad hoc basis. What this means is:

We would message you in the morning at 6am if a teacher is going to be off, or ahead of time if we know someone is going to be off, and you can let us know if you can make it in that day. Sometimes, we might be looking for a day, sometimes it might be a week or two. The general shift is from 8am-5pm, or something similar. Generally, the role for the day will be an assistant teacher role. You would be paid a daily rate depending on qualifications/experience and the role given for the day. This is NOT a full time or contracted role.

Qualifications and experience required:

Non-negotiable: At least ECD NQF Level 4 (please note, your application WILL NOT be considered without this) Non-negotiable: must be able to get to Kirstenhof within 2 hours of being messaged at 6am. Preferred but not required: experience working as an assistant teacher
