Structural Technician/draughtsman
Job Description
Proficiency in drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Revit and Prokon
Draft connection details
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings
Detail steel and concrete structures
Prepare structural layouts, elevations, and sections
Experience with fabrication/shop drawings
Efficiency in documentation control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
Draft concrete reinforcing details
Going to site to do inspections during construction
Preferred Skills
Skills & Experience:
Must understand both English and Afrikaans
Minimum 5 years of experience
A solid understanding of structural systems/designs is a must.
Qualification:
National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Draughting Certificate
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
