:
This role involves contributing to the design and execution of technically demanding residential and mixed-use projects
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all structures are safe, efficient, and aligned with the overall design intent and project objectives
They will collaborate with architects, draughtsmen, fellow engineers, and construction professionals to uphold the structural integrity and performance of all building systems
The role includes using FEM software and other analytical tools to model and design structural components effectively
Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, technical reports, and detailed structural specifications
Conduct site inspections and structural assessments during both design and construction stages
All work must comply with relevant building codes, project standards, and client-specific requirements
Provide practical, cost-effective solutions to structural challenges that arise during construction
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 4 years of post-graduate experience in structural design and analysis
Proficiency in FEM software (e.g., Autodesk Robot, ETABS, Prokon, or equivalent)
Qualification:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required)
Progress towards ECSA registration (a plus)
