As part of the world's fastest-growing hearing care company, we're on an ambitious journey to scale, aiming to double our South African business in the next two years and become the go-to hearing care company in the country. To support this growth, we're hiring a Strategy and Growth Lead: a strategic right-hand to the Country Head and a key leadership role with real impact.
This is a new role for someone who wants to build something meaningful, not just have a job. You'll work in a small close-knit team, driving impact through strategy and business growth. You will be given ownership, trust, and support to lead initiatives that truly move the needle. Your thinking, energy, and execution will help shape the future of hearing care in South Africa, with your work directly tied to the growth and scale of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Act as a thought partner to the Country Head, both supporting and challenging priorities and decisions to ensure we drive the highest impact for the business and our customers
Develop a deep end-to-end understanding of the business, to spot inefficiencies, unlock growth levers, and propose impactful improvements
Design and implement high impact and pragmatic solutions, from the smallest change that increases team efficiency, to large projects focused on completely new and disruptive growth areas
Work with business data to extract insights, prepare forecasts, and support strategic decisions
Build and maintain systems for strategic planning and execution, e.g., dashboards, project tracking tools to ensure alignment and accountability
Collaborate with all functions (marketing, sales, partner management, and operations) to support their initiatives with strategic thinking, data analysis, content, and execution support
Bridge business and tech: collaborate with our global tech teams to implement digital tools, automation, and AI-powered solutions
Work with international peers (e.g. Germany, France, US, India) to adapt successful initiatives for the South African context
Influence team culture through leading by example: high degree of ownership, excellence, and proactive collaboration

Skills & Experience
Education: Degree in business, commerce, engineering, or related field is desirable. An MBA or similar postgraduate qualification would be a bonus
Experience: 4+ years in management consulting (or a similarly analytical, fast-paced environment), strategy, business development, operations, or product management
Analytical skills: Strong ability to work with numbers and business data
Project leadership: Proven track record of leading and implementing cross-functional projects
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
Problem-solving: Skilled at identifying challenges, designing solutions, and following through
Organisation: Detail-oriented with strong systems-thinking and organizational skills
Growth mindset: Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business growth through initiatives you've led

You've established yourself as a trusted partner to the Country Head and leadership team
Strategic initiatives you've designed and led are directly contributing to measurable growth - e.g. revenue uplift, market share expansion, customer acquisition, or efficiency gains

Working Structure
Based in Cape Town with a focus on in-office collaboration (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
