DESCRIPTION

The Strategic Intelligence Analyst will produce intelligence reports and conduct open source research. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work independently, think critically, and prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced and challenging environment that requires significant attention to detail.

Key job responsibilities

  • Produce strategic intelligence reports, threat assessments, and deep-dive analysis in a cohesive, concise, and visually appealing format
  • Triage incoming requests for intelligence support, provide timely and pertinent analysis, and coordinate response efforts with multiple departments
  • Build and maintain business relationships internally, as well as with external partners
  • Provide briefings to senior management
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Cape Town, ZAF

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years' experience in analytical, investigative, law enforcement or related disciplines
  • Bachelor's degree in geopolitical risk analysis, Global Security, Strategic Intelligence, International relations, or a related industry
  • Excellent critical thinking and open source research skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize and assess information
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to multi-task and learn new technologies and tasks quickly.
  • Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with highly confidential information.
  • Proficient in multiple languages.
