The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
Briefing and managing agencies on research/ analytics projects
Sharing research outputs, internally
Liaising with global counterparts to ensure all research/ project objectives are met
Distilling consumer insights into action plans for the brand and commercial teams
Driving consumer centricity inside the organisation
Informing business plans through the understanding of market, trade, competitor, and customer performance
Ensuring that the brand and commercial teams know how to utilise the latest consumer/ global trends to grow the business
Identifying opportunities for growth (utilising multiple data sources) for brand and commercial teams
Leveraging data to ensure disruptive and transformative growth
The ideal candidate has:
Degree/Diploma in Marketing or a Degree/Diploma in commerce or humanities with research principles
Marketing research/consumer insights essential.
Minimum 5 years marketing/insights experience (preferably in a FMCG environment or in the liquor industry or general research agency) working within consumer insights
Must have qualitative and quantitative experience
Preferable online and social media tools experience
Project management experience essential
