Our client is looking for a Stores Coordinator/ Supervisor to join their team in Killarney Gardens, Cape TownIdeal candidate must have management experience and dealt with engineering partsJob Specification
Maintain correct stock levels to supply production and production stores on time and in full
Ensure that service delivery demands are met
Manage receiving of goods and daily delivery schedule
Manage stock and ensure raw and packaging materials stock availability
Manage the effective administration of Stock
Manage and ensure Stock-Taking Process
Manage and ensure proper handling and storage of stocks
Manage the elimination of stock loss and write offxe2x80x99s
Warehouse Security
Stock picking and issuing
Production Returns
Manage the jack pallets and maintain the register
Hyster Management
Manage the reject and quarantined stock
HACCP and Quality standards are maintained in the Warehouse House
Drive the implementation of HACCP and quality procedures
Identifies risks in area of responsibility and immediate operations
Drive the implementation of Health and safety procedures and ensure adherence to legislation policies, procedures and standards
Consistently apply 5S principles
Auditing and inspection of area and equipment
Conduct Incident investigations
Promote awareness and review performance
Monitor and ensure corrective and preventative improvement actions through structured problem-solving
Create an environment conducive to effective teamwork and innovation
Setup effective teams and ensure review of performance
Promote and ensure effective team communication
Management of Warehouse staff
Manage and conduct performance of individuals
Manage and ensure training and Development of Resources
Ensure required levels of resources and skills for effective team functioning
Manage IR situations and ensure a positive IR environment
Ensure that all administrative procedures are performed and documents are traceableMinimum Requirements
Matric
3 to 5 years experience within a similar role
Experience in managing a team
Experience in dealing with engineering spare parts
Diploma/Certification in Supply Chain Management, Stock and stores management, Inventory Management Supervisor/Leadership Training - hugely beneficial
