Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is a leading mining company situated in Mpumalanga, seeking the expertise of an experienced Stores Clerk to join their team.Responsibilities:
- Receive goods via purchase orders and check delivery notes
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all goods received and issued
- Ensure that the stock is stored in a safe and secure manner
- Organize and maintain efficient stores and stock control systems
- Prepare stock reports to management as required
- Carry out stock takes as needed
- Assist with the identification and implementation of improvements in stores processes
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management and Purchasing/BCom in Procurement
- Effective communication abilities are essential.
- Proficiency in negotiation techniques and interpersonal skills is required.
- 2 years' of practical experience working within the mining sector, specifically in a comparable position.
- Knowledge in MS Office applications and warehouse management systems.
- Understanding of the Health & Safety Regulations.
- Salary: Negotiable
